Favourite Flower Friday

brunnera-starry-eyesBrunnera ‘Jack Frost’ is a beautiful and popular foliage plant, revered by many of us cottage gardeners.

Last year I was given the opportunity to grow Brunnera macrophylla ‘Starry Eyes’ by courtesy of Thompson & Morgan. This plant has robust heart shaped green foliage and multitudes of sprays of delicate flowers that are white with a blue edge.

My little plant has spread rapidly and in a few weeks will be split and replanted in my birch wood, where it should thrive as an effective and most attractive weed suppressant.
