I’m not usually a fan of bedding plants, but I ordered this striking Petunia Surfinia ‘Green Edge Pink’, as a pack of plug plants from Suttons 2015 catalogue in early spring.
Planted in isolation in one of my old galvanized buckets, it looks stunning – and with due attention given to watering and feeding, it has been in flower now for well over 2 months.
Lovely. We spent yesterday visiting the RHS Show at Tatton Park – your garden vignette would have fitted in perfectly!

Thanks. Wish I could have got there – it was my local many years ago! Did you see The Cottage Garden Society’s stand there?

Your wonderful pix always make me want to get out and garden as well as hunt for the brilliant vintage bits and pieces you manage to find. Sadly, it’s pouring down today. It would be nice to have a little potting shed to potter in!

Thank you Barb. Raining here too – but the garden so needs I don’t mind!
