Last week we opened my husband Tom’s studio at the bottom of our garden for the first time, as part of the Surrey Artist’s Open Studios.
I enjoyed showing Tom’s work to our visitors and was delighted by the number of enthusiastic gardeners amongst them who took time to look at and admire my bit, between our garden gate and Tom’s gallery.
Having dipped my toes in the water, I am now hoping that my long-held ambition of opening for the NGS one day could become a reality. This morning I have contacted our NGS County Organiser to ask her to come and inspect my plot, to see if it might be a suitable candidate to raise money for their worthy causes. I will let you know how it goes…
Tom’s work can be seen on our website: www.boultongallery.co.uk
And I expect you all know about the NGS already! http://www.ngs.org.uk

Your garden is looking fabulous! Love the studio and love your garden bench tucked around the corner. When are you starting B&B?!!!! (With a tour of the garden too!)
