This week I went to see the Tulip Festival in the gardens at Arundel Castle. I wasn’t sure what to expect… a nice garden with lots of tulips? I was not disappointed. This year there were over 32,000 of them, providing sweeps of colour and whoops of joy around every corner…
I found lots of achievable ideas for small gardens too. Some clever underplanting combinations…
…who said red and green should never be seen?
But the big surprise was that this garden has so much more than tulips, and is worthy of a visit at any time of year.
A tunnel vision… and the finest stumpery have seen.
I hope to be back for the Allium Extravaganza next month.
Wonderful photos Julie definitely on my wish list of places to visit.
Thanks, Jean
